There is something deeply restorative about slowing down together in the forest.

This morning I had the privilege of guiding a wonderful group of Sacred Threads Center women for our second walk in our Forest Bathing series. Thank you to everyone for showing up with an open heart and helping create such a supportive, peaceful and nourishing space.

Grateful for the local sweet cherries harvested earlier this week from the nearby traditional Nipmuc land. 🌿

What a gift to guide the women of Sacred Threads on this beautiful morning. We shared dandelion tea and enjoyed what Robin Wall Kimmerer lovingly calls “the leader of the berries.” Grateful to the Quinobequin Watershed for embracing us and to the Nipmuc Land for its abundance and nourishment.

In this spring season of blooming and renewal, join us for a peaceful outdoor experience that invites healing within ourselves and a deeper connection with the natural world. Forest bathing is a mindful practice of slowing down and engaging the senses in nature, supporting relaxation, stress reduction, and overall wellbeing through simple guided presence outdoors.

Led by Michele Ryan, ANFT forest therapy guide and former Sacred Threads board member, whose love of nature and commitment to wellness guide her work. Michele is a certified guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, bringing her passion for stress relief and mindfulness to every walk.

This program is offered as a two-session series, allowing participants to deepen their forest bathing practice while connecting with others in community and nature. Details about exact location will be shared upon registration.

We are also offering a weekday series for those who prefer a Tuesday option, and you are welcome to register for one or both series!
