One of the reasons I wanted to create this blog was to provide a place for education and encouragement beyond the walls of the office. Each month we will focus on a different aspect of wellness- addressing topics on the body, mind and soul.

This month's post explores Hashimoto's Thyroiditis—an autoimmune condition that affects the thyroid and is often more complex than standard thyroid lab work alone can reveal.

If you've ever been told your thyroid tests were "normal" but you still didn't feel like yourself, this article offers insight into why a deeper look may sometimes be needed.

My goal is always to help patients better understand their health and feel empowered to ask questions.

Beginning next week, Cornerstone Family Wellness will be launching a new blog on our website called Between the Visits — a space dedicated to sharing insights and information that support wellness beyond the office visit.

Our blog will feature a variety of topics focused on the mind, body, and soul, with the goal of encouraging healthier living, deeper understanding, and whole-person wellness.

We’re excited to begin sharing this new resource with our community and look forward to sharing our first post next week. 💙

One week in… and already so grateful. 🤍

This first week at Cornerstone Family Wellness has been full of meaningful conversations, new faces, familiar faces, and the kind of patient interactions that remind me of what medicine should be.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted us with your care, shared encouraging words, recommended us to friends, or simply followed along on this journey. Opening week has been humbling in the very best way.

The construction process is done, and we can't wait to show you the finished project. We have loved breathing new life into this building, not just in the bricks itself but in the unique approach to medicine that is happening between these walls. Okay… we’re getting so close.

Seeing everything come together has been so satisfying.
What started as plans and ideas is finally turning into a space we’re genuinely proud of.
The renovations are coming together beautifully, and we’re so close to opening the doors.

Several weeks ago a young man named Levi Steele asked me to join him on his podcast, Ordinary People. We had a great time talking-- covering topics from the medical industry, what drew me to functional medicine as well as some of my personal story, including the adoption of our fourth child. It's always great to meet a new friend.

We are officially opening the phone lines and beginning to schedule appointments at Cornerstone Family Wellness.

If you’ve been waiting to get on the schedule — this is your moment.

Monday-Thursday
8:00am-4:30pm

A few things to know as you call:
• Appointments are required (we are not a walk-in clinic)
• We’ll take time to answer your questions and help you choose the right visit
• We will not be billing insurance or mailing bills to patients for services rendered. Payment is expected at the time of service.
(Cash and all major credit cards--including HSA accounts will be accepted as forms of payment.)

We can’t wait to start caring for this community and look forward to meeting you and your family.
