Hi everyone! I wanted to officially re-introduce myself.
My name is Ann Julene Cartwright. I’m a proud wife, mother of three, a July Leo, kinda weird hippie who’s extremely optimistic, resilient & caring. I’m really into gardening, plants, rocks & ridiculously obsessed with all things birth & postpartum.
I’m probably not your typical doula, & that’s okay. My goal isn’t to convince you to birth a certain way or to push my own beliefs onto your experience. I’m here for one reason only: to help you have a better birth and postpartum journey.
I’m here to support you, make sure you never feel alone, help you find your voice when words are hard to say, sometimes even read your mind when you literally can’t speak & advocate for you when you need it most. I want to help you make truly informed decisions so you feel confident and empowered every step of the way.
I’m deeply passionate about birth, postpartum, & breastfeeding. During my own experiences, I only had my husband by my side, I couldn’t have done it without his support but I learned how powerful & important it is for women to support other women.
If I can make even one moment of your birth or postpartum experience feel safer, more supported, & more positive, then I’ve accomplished exactly what I set out to do.
I’m constantly learning, growing and improving. I have so much love for each client & family I’ve supported.. I think that’s what makes me just a little different. I don’t treat this like it’s just my job.. it’s what I was put on this earth to do… My hope is that I can empower you! Hold space for you, listen & truly care for you & your family!
