My first client here in Western Mass. She is such a delight. Age 3. Her confidence is building with each session. Her voice volume is increasing and she is catching onto natural horsemanship fast. Start them young.

I offer a Little Ones Equine Therapy rate: $65 for 30 minutes for ages 3 - 10.

Making Progress… Western Mass Equine Therapy is in its final stage of set up. You may notice the new signs out front and that we moved the ponies to the front pasture.

Signs are in the design stage & because of the relocation of the ponies shed, we now have space to expand the outdoor session & riding arena in the magic off grid forest!

Magic is already happening with equine therapy clients. The horses are helping people to heal.

Art supplies are for clients to observe the herd & horse behavior before entering the herd,

This autumn has been all about setting up Molly and Darling with a safe and spacious place to live. Placing them on a hill turned out to be a bit dangerous, so their shed is being moved to lower ground. I think they will like their new paddock in the lower front lawn.

Their first clients in western Mass are scheduling now. If you feel drawn to receive, let’s get you on the calendar.

Sessions include setting an intention for how you would like to heal with the ponies, connecting with the herd, grooming, groundwork and when the time is right, led pony rides at end of each session. Experience the horse medicine that Molly and Darling provide.

Life has been full with horse set up and getting over a 2 week flu. We are now ready to receive clients at Western Mass Equine Therapy.

Yes, that’s our new name! Soon I will figure out how to change the name on socials.

We are only open til November 1st, then reopen April 1st.

The time has come for Wild Baca Ranch to change hands. It’s been exactly a 9 year run in Crestone, CO. Nine is a very powerful number. The end of a cycle.

It’s been an intensely transformational experience. A beautiful home for the animals, trail rides, significant alone time, and lots of healing for those who spent time here with me doing equine therapy for mental health with the ponies.

I’ll be moving some of my belongings, the cat Bandit and the ponies to my home in Conway, Mass in early September.

Workshops and private sessions are already underway. Equine therapy for mental health will continue with Molly and Darling here in Western, Mass. Interest is already growing and the ponies will be busy helping others with horse medicine and unconditional love.🐴

The ranch is set to be sold to a very kind couple in mid August. I am grateful that I am finally able to let go.

The San Luis Valley has been a blissful place to physically heal with hot springs, sunshine and skiing. I’ll miss all of that, and will be creating that as much as possible in western Mass.

Returning to sea level and darker days has actually been very healing so far. Sleeping like a baby and chronic sinus headaches have mostly become a thing of the past.

I’m personally ready to release Crestone’s energy vortex that creates intense transformation. A place where the indigenous went to die and be reborn. I can attest to that. It was needed and now I’m ready to go. 🌀

I will be creating a new name for this land and page. I will feel into it and pray on it. Any name suggestions are welcome. Some words that come to mind: water, portal, shamanic, conscious, awake, watershed…

When I had a retreat center down the road in the early 2000s, the name was Gaia Center for Transformational Healing. Later, I learned a local author soon wrote a book about the energy matrix of the watershed, called Gaia Matrix. The energy is yin here. Feminine. Nurturing and nourishing. 🥰
