๐๏ธ In memory of two remarkable leaders.
Between the nonprofit leaders Laura Rossman and I (Chelsea Ambrose) have supervised and our own experiences with burnout, we've seen the same pattern too many times: brilliant, big-hearted people giving everything to their communities โ often at the cost of their own well-being. Two of those leaders were our dear friends: Tali Sutton and Stephanie Bates. We believe they would have been the first to sign up for a program built to help leaders lead without burning out.
So this fall, in their honor, we're personally funding 5 new scholarships for the Wholehearted Leadership Series โ a 12-week hybrid program (SeptโDec 2026) combining experiential workshops, one-on-one coaching, and a leadership energy assessment for nonprofit leaders ready for a healthier, more sustainable way to lead.
โ 1 scholarship covering 100% of tuition
โ 4 scholarships covering 80% of tuition ($600 remaining investment)
These join the scholarship support already offered by the Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning and the Finger Lakes for nonprofit leaders in Chemung, Steuben, Schuyler, and Yates counties.
Interested? Email [email protected] to be entered โ space is limited, and a lottery will be used if we receive more requests than scholarships available. Deadline: Sept 8, End of Business
This one's for Tali and Stephanie. ๐
