Meet Vanessa. 💚

One of my amazing 1:1 clients who reached out because she wanted guidance, accountability, and to start feeling stronger and more confident in herself.

From our very first session, we just clicked. It’s been such a joy getting to know her, celebrate every win, and work through every challenge together.

Two years ago today, I stood on top of Half Dome. 💙

One of the hardest and most rewarding hikes I’ve ever done. It wasn’t just about reaching the summit—it was about trusting my body, pushing through moments when I wanted to quit, and proving to myself I was capable of more than I thought.

Looking back, it’s a reminder that strength isn’t built overnight. It’s built through consistency, showing up, and taking one step at a time.

The same mindset I bring to my own fitness journey is what I bring to my clients. Whether your goal is to lose weight, build strength, improve your health, or simply feel better in your body, every small step matters.

Here’s to more adventures, more mountains, and becoming stronger—inside and out. 💚

🥧 MY FAMOUS CHICKEN PIE! 🥧

Not the most aesthetic picture, but it is delicious. Here’s the recipe for the filling:

Ingredients:
• 1 zucchini
• 1 yellow squash
• 1 garlic clove
• ½ medium onion
• ½ red pepper
• ½ green pepper
• 1 cup chopped baby carrots (I forgot to add them this time 😂)
• 2 chicken breasts
• Paprika
• Onion powder
• Garlic powder
• Lemon pepper seasoning
• Salt
• Tomato sauce

Instructions:

1. Chop all the vegetables and chicken into small cubes.
2. Add your seasonings. I don’t measure—I do it by eye! I’d guess about 2–3 tbsp total seasoning.
3. Add salt to taste.
4. Pour in a little tomato sauce and cook everything until the vegetables are tender and the chicken is fully cooked.
5. Add the filling to your pie crust.
6. Bake at 350°F for about 25 minutes. Broil for a few minutes at the end if needed for extra color.

Post-work ride!

Fun fact: I got certified as an indoor cycling instructor in Argentina and used to teach classes while I was in medical school. I love to ride!!! It’s been a few weeks since my last outdoor ride, but 8 miles around Cornwall was exactly what I needed today.

One of the things I love about Mary’s classes is that they don’t have to end when class is over. 💛

If you’re traveling, have a busy schedule, or simply can’t make it to the studio, you can purchase her recorded Mat Pilates classes and practice from the comfort of your own home, whenever it works for you.

The flexibility to move on your own time while still learning from such an incredible teacher is something I really appreciate.

Back with the run club after a month and a half! 👟

The sun was definitely hitting hard this morning, but it felt so good to be back running and catching up with everyone. There’s something special about starting the weekend with movement, fresh air, and a great community.

If you’re local and looking for a fun, supportive group to run with, we meet every Saturday at 8:00 AM. Whether you’re a beginner, walker, jogger, or runner, everyone is welcome!
