I feel like a proud mom. 🌱

There is just something so rewarding about growing your own food and plants. We took gardening to a whole new level this year, and I couldn’t be happier.

A special thank you to my husband for doing most of the heavy lifting. It was definitely a team effort, and it’s certainly paying off.

Maybe that’s why I love gardening so much. Every seed is a reminder that growth takes time, and that what we nurture—whether it’s a garden or ourselves—eventually begins to bloom. 💚

I had the privilege of leading a sound meditation centered on Psalm 46:10: “Be still, and know that I am God.”

So often our prayers are filled with words, requests, and conversation. This experience was an invitation to simply become still, to quiet our bodies, settle our minds, and create space to listen.

As the sound of the bowls faded into silence, we were reminded that God is often found not only in what is spoken, but in the sacred stillness that follows.

I’m grateful to everyone who trusted the process, embraced the quiet, and shared this beautiful experience together. Thank you to our church family for welcoming something a little different. It was a wonderful day.

Sometimes the most profound prayer is simply being present

A special thanks to all involved in planning such a special day for our congregation. 💜

Over the past few months, I chose to honor a quieter season.

As my family and I navigated some significant life transitions, I found myself listening more than speaking, studying more deeply, asking better questions, and allowing space for reflection. In many ways, I was simply being the student and not the teacher.

Some of the greatest transformation happens in the quiet.

Thank you for giving me that space.

This season has deepened not only who I am, but also how I want to share this work. While my commitment to creating spaces for healing, reflection, and authentic connection hasn't changed, you'll begin to see new ways to experience Authentically U.

I'm excited to share that I'm now a teacher on Insight Timer, where you'll find guided meditations and mindful practices created for those who have spent so much of their lives caring for others that they've forgotten how to care for themselves. For the ones who carry everyone else's emotions, put their own needs last, and long to reconnect with the quiet wisdom within. If that speaks to you, I'd love for you to join me there.

I'm also looking forward to gathering together again for our Equine Meditation Experiences this summer:

🐴 Sunday, July 19 | 2:00 PM
🐴 Saturday, August 8 | 2:00 PM
🐴 Sunday, September 13 | 2:00 PM

The Authentically U Newsletter will also return in September. I'd love your feedback: what have you enjoyed most, and what would you like to see more of? Your ideas will help shape future content and ensure it continues to serve this community in meaningful ways.

Thank you for walking this journey with me. I'm grateful you're here, and I'm looking forward to sharing this next chapter with you. 🤍

We enter this world whole. Authentic, innocent, and connected to love.

Then slowly, the world teaches us fear, performance, and who we should be.

But every spiritual teacher I’ve studied — even the Bible — ultimately points back to the same truth:
the journey is returning to your authentic self. ✨

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there. 💜

Today doesn’t have to look a certain way.

You don’t have to host, perform, hold it all together, or make everyone else happy before yourself. Let this be your reminder that you are allowed to spend today in the way that feels nourishing to you.

Maybe that’s being with family.
Maybe it’s quiet.
Maybe it’s being outside, moving your body, taking a nap, going to brunch, sitting with your coffee in peace, or simply having space to breathe.

There’s no right way to do today.

Mothering asks so much of women. Today, may you remember that you are a human being beneath all the roles you carry.

Happy Mother’s Day to the women learning that caring for themselves is not selfish… it is sacred. 💜

We don’t always need big breakthroughs.

Sometimes it’s this…
stepping outside and seeing a bald eagle overhead,
then reading “you matter” on your coffee cup at just the right moment.

These small moments bring us back.
Back to presence. Back to ourselves.

Wonder isn’t rare.
We just have to slow down long enough to notice it.

What have you noticed lately that made you pause?
