Soap day + chicken coop progress! 🧼🐔
While I was inside pouring gingerbread Christmas soap, Scott and the kids finished putting the chicken coop together. They even sent me a picture of Duke and Pandy checking it out, making sure everything meets their high standards 😂

Our youngest starts kindergarten today 💛
It hits a little different when it’s your baby’s very first day of school… and the last firsts for us. First ride on the bus, first full day of school, first hot lunch.
The last firsts are hard. So proud of her and a little emotional watching this chapter begin.

First day of school… and already down with a stomach bug 🤒
She had kindergarten for about half an hour this morning to meet her teacher before coming home for a super early nap. Woke up with a fever and nausea, so now we’re snuggled on the couch with her favorite bear watching Harry Potter.
Hoping she feels better for her real first day on Thursday. Pretty sure she picked something up at the fair last week.

Ash and Gabe WON! 🏆💙
They both earned the coveted Grand Champion Round Robin award and brought home the hardware!
Thank you to everyone who showed up to root for both boys and all the participants. There were tears shed by so many people when Ash won his belt buckle. We are truly blessed to have such an amazing community that loves all the kids and roots for everyone.
With all his physical limitations, Ash didn’t let them stop him. He showed every animal, including a cow and a horse. So proud of his grit and heart.
A special shout-out to Kat for working with all the kids every single day to get them ready for this week. You are a total rock star!
