Spinal Flow is for kids, too!
In fact, their results are usually quicker.
Special rates for kids (age 0-16)
In general, it seems that children get the most bang for the buck when it comes to Spinal Flow Sessions. They are usually more connected to their bodies, most can feel their Life Force energy right away, and they can work through their “stuff” much quicker than adults. A few children who have tried it have described their body sensations as… “it feels like waves,” “it was like a lightning bolt,” “it’s like tickles inside,” “my fingers kept wanting to move.” And, as this flow comes through them, it unwinds stress and tensions held in their bodies.
For children, these tensions can be from a number of stressors… from their own childhood experiences, from a difficult delivery and entrance into this world, in utero, stuff carried on from past generations, stuff passed on from parents, etc…
We all hold stress in our bodies and that’s ok, but if there are signs that a little one is stressed to a point that they are stuck in survival mode (sympathetic, fight/flight/freeze/fawn) even though they are in a safe home environment, Spinal Flow can help bring the body back to safety/healing mode (parasympathetic, rest/digest mode).
Some signs that kids might be in survival stress mode:
FIGHT can look like:
-physical or verbal aggression
-yelling, screaming
-blaming, defensiveness
-demanding, controlling
-defiant, oppositional
-irritable, angry, offended
FLIGHT can look like:
-withdrawal, running away
-avoidance
-restlessness, fidgety, hyperactive
-procrastination
-anxious, worried, scared, overwhelmed
FREEZE can look like:
-spaced out, daydreaming
-urge to hide or isolate
-says, “I don’t know” a lot
-depressed, numb, helpless
FAWN (often overlooked because these behaviors are considered ‘nice’) can look like:
-overly compliant
-constant seeking of approval
-excessive people pleasing
-struggle to express needs
The good news is that we can see this behavior as a stress RESPONSE,
Which means there’s nothing wrong with the child.
In fact, their bodies are functioning just as they are meant to, and they DON'T have a problem.
Their nervous system is responding to a threat/danger that they feel viscerally in their bodies, in their organs, in their muscles, in their cells.
This is where Spinal Flow can help.
If we can bring the visceral feeling of safety into their body, their behavior often changes.
When there is a deep visceral feeling of safety, we get to be more of who we authentically mean to be… and we can get closer to knowing who we are, loving who we are, sharing who we are.
If there’s one thing I wished that I could’ve done for my own kids when they were young, it was to have known something about all this and to have been active about caring for their body and nervous system.
I will be offering Spinal Flow in Round Valley until May 9th, so anyone buying a package now has about 15 days to use up the package.
Taking a break soon and plan to be back in July.
