It is canning season! What are you preserving for the winter? This is my grandmother's chili sauce recipe... I have always loved this rather than ketchup. That being said, I do have her ketchup recipe that I have never tried! 💜💜💜

Another lovely day for the Farmer's Markets! We are here 9:00 - 12:00 with fresh, LOCAL grown Microgreens, including Salad Mixes!

Did you know that prep for the market for most of our vendors takes days?

That's besides the growing. Harvesting, washing, packaging. All to bring you the freshest, nutrient dense products possible.

With all the talk in town of keeping local farms going here are some simple action steps:
1- shop local, at the farmers market or a roadside stand
2- volunteer at the market or conservation commission or on a local farm
3- spread the word about the market or farms in town when people ask where to get product. Word of mouth is #1 in a local economy.
4- write to your local councilor and ask them to make Coventry a right to farm town or a right to feed yourself town (for those wondering on that check out what Maine is doing, it's phenomenal and is all about personal freedom which I think we can all get behind)
5- See how you can help at the town community garden, I know there have been a few posts looking.
