Either the machine took me back down from 2.5% incline or I accidentally hit the 1 but I know I took it up to a 2.5% incline.

But I had a great work out today.

After, I got on those old fashioned scales that was in the ladies locker room at the YMCA.

If it's to be believed, I weigh 187 now where as the at home digital floor scales say I weigh 205.

I will have to take a weight into the locker room to see if those are actually accurate. Are they even accurate?

Things that make you go hmmm?...

Anyways, I know I'm definitely losing inches which is better in my opinion. I can see that I'm slimming down and that my belly doesn't stick out that much anymore.

When you can't eat the foods you want because of added phosphates, you change that diet real quick to preserve kidney function.

Tomorrow will be a two mile walk followed by grilling out hamburgers and hot dogs. I will be eating turkey burgers and home made sugar free, grain free cherry cobbler.

Enjoy your 4th folks and be safe.

Updates and more!

Yesterday, I heard back from my transplant coordinator. Not for the reason I was hoping for. She wanted updates. I answered a few of her questions and told her how EVERY Monday through Friday I get up at 445 and go work out for an hour. She said she wished she had that inspiration. I told her I was taking everything seriously.

Anyways, at the end of the phone call she was going to resubmit and hope to hear from the surgeons either today or Monday. I, however, am not going to focus on it. I am going to continue on keeping on.

This morning was a struggle for me to get out of the bed. I didn't want to. I didn't sleep good because at 11 pm last night my CGM (continuous glucose monitor) went off with an alarm. My sugar had went from 210 down to 69. Of course I had to eat a snack and drink juice.

The real struggle was at about three something this morning, my right knee (has osteoarthritis) started burning and hurting. I really didn't want to get out of bed and go work out. BUT, I got up and I got ready. I put my knee compression sleeves on and I went to work out.

I gave it my very all. And here I sit now with a headache, but that's okay, I will take some tylenol and focus on my day and get ready for Bible Study.

This morning's workout was a bit different than normal. I had to forego the leg press because of my knees and my right foot.

First let me break it down as to why.

Yesterday, I had an ortho appointment and didn't get to work out. Found out that in agreement with the ortho, that my whole body has osteoarthritis. The knees have it too just not as bad as the hips as I was able to forego a cortisone shot. We did change one thing though. I now have to wear a compression knee sleeve on both knees. Mostly the right knee. So I am currently waiting on it to get here.

Yesterday, I woke up and could barely walk on my right foot. After talking to primary yesterday and letting her re do my labs to see if my one elevated number was coming down. The doctor said I was more than likely having a gout attack (a form of arthritis). And she said to exercise but pay attention to how my body feels.

This morning, I avoided the leg press (too much pressure on the foot and knees) and I had to back down my speed on the treadmill. I totally was listening to my body because I started off at normal speed and then when the pain got too much I backed off. Now I'm just gonna rest it for the rest of the day.

Walked the Eastside Trail which is roughly 2.5 miles. But since we started on the library side of Chimney Park. That's ok though

I made it! That's all that matters.

I walked the treadmill this morning. But according to google/fitbit app I was all over the place.

Okay, so we just got home from Children's with Abby from her routine kidney check up.
Abby's kidney function is 15%.
She is now being recommended for Kidney transplant.
This is what we've been expecting since birth. We were just unsure of when this would take place.
So now, we do a transplant evaluation through CHOA.
If YOU wish to see if you are eligible to be a donor you will have to be tested through Emory University for Childrends.

Today I weighed myself bc its been a month since last weigh in.

I gained 3 pounds so I am back at 200. :\

I know that it's fat turning to muscle but seeing the number 200, when I already have a clean limited diet, hurts.

I won't lie about that. That is raw feelings on display.

I "look" smaller, but who am I to say?

I will say and I won't lie on this, but sometimes I get in my head.

However, we will keep on getting up at 5 am to do a 5:30 am workout.

I also know it takes time.

I am after all my own worst enemy.

Guys!I walked 2.2 miles in 65 minutes. So proud of myself.
