Look at GOD!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Now that it is officially scheduled and confirmed we are thrilled to share Juan Grimaldo-Martinez is getting his Kidney, from none other than his little sister Teisy Martinez ☺️. We couldn’t be more delighted and blessed to know that his sister has chosen to give her brother a part of herself so that he can have a better quality of life! For those who have prayed alongside side us, THANK YOU! To those who have helped us physically or financially, THANK YOU!
This notification doesn’t mean Juan’s Journey to a Kidney Transplant is over, it is far from that it is just the confirmation to a new beginning. What this does mean is that Juan is that much closer to a better quality of life and being given another opportunity to continue to be physically healthy!
Please keep our family in your personal prayers, on your church prayer list, and your small group prayer list because we know God is in control and in charge of this story!
Things to join us in prayer on
⚕️Juan and Teisy’s physical and mental health! For these next 27 days it will be crucial that neither one of them experience any health problems, even the slightest fever or cough could delay the surgery. They are each going through physical changes but it will also play a part on their mental health so pray that God continues to give them mental peace and strengthens their relationship.
🥼🏥 The hospital, surgeons, nurses and all members of both of their transplant teams (they each have their own designated transplant teams that consist of a nephrologist, surgeon, nurse, social worker)
👧🏻👦🏻🧒🏻 Our children ( Chris, Lexi, Yasmin, Luis, Leia, Manny, Lina) — We have tried to include our teens in the conversation about what is going on and what will happen. This journey has been overwhelming for us adults we can only pray the God conforts and gives our kids peace through everything they see and hear.
💲Provision - We have been blessed with financial support from so many and for that we can only thank God and pray that your blessings be multiplied. As one can imagine a surgery like this is a huge financial expense but we are staying focused on getting the procedure done and trusting that God will continue to provide us with what we need.
