No matter how busy my schedule is, 99% of the time I choose a morning workout before anything else to start my day. I have 2 weeks left of my program, and there are 2 weeks left until Christmas break! Keep pushing hard! 💪

When we got the kids’ school pictures in the mail for this fall, I was taken aback that apparently Addison’s school picture display is already over halfway full. 😭

When did my baby girl turned big sister helper turn into this amazing almost teenager??

And when did my dear sweet snuggly baby Jaden turn into a little boy who can read and is rocking at school (when he can control his wiggles)??

I love watching them grow and yes the days can be oh so long and difficult battles, but I still cherish all the time I get with my kids and count myself lucky that I get to see them at multiple points during the day instead of just before/after school.

Oh and don’t forget to peek at the final pic- both of my kids in 1st grades. Are they twinsies or what?! ❤️🥰😱

We went up north to Crosslake, MN for MEA break with Corey’s parents last week. Our condo was just perfect and right on the water. 🌊 The kids had the entire upper loft to themselves and played foosball every single day. Kirby laid in front of the fire the entire time. 🔥 I read outside in the splendor of the fall colors. 🍂🍁 Rizzo loved going down to the dock and had his first (several) boat rides. 🚤The kids played foosball, swam daily, and went fishing several times. 🎣 They caught more than Corey and his dad. We also visited Corey’s grandparents’ gravesites; it just passed 2 years since his grandma passed away. We shopped around Crosslake and also down in Pequot Lakes and had ice cream twice at Lake Country Crafts and Cones, as well as yummy breakfasts at Pine Peaks. 🍦🍳

365 days ago I started to learn Spanish on because there was a Spanish-speaking student in the class I was going to be long-term subbing in.

That student actually didn’t come back to our school after Christmas so I never got to use my Spanish with him, but I’ve kept going learning the language anyways.

Addie is only a few days behind me in her own Spanish streak and I’m so proud of her.

I love how accessible Duolingo Duolingo Español makes learning a new language and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon! You should always be learning something, no matter your age.
