Get ready for an unforgettable 2026 Caregiver Conference! 🎉

This year's lineup is bringing the energy, the laughter and the inspiration to our caregivers.

🎭 DcMickan will kick things off by helping our team recharge through comedy, connection and a whole lot of FUN!

🎶 Dustin Politte-Bender of Positive Note Music Therapy, LLC, will lead an engaging session on how our caregivers can use music to promote well-being for both themselves and their residents.

🎤 And lastly, keynote speaker Alex Demczak will encourage caregivers through a powerful message about the impact of showing up with integrity, consistency and heart each day.

Dustin is officially an MMT! 🎓🎉 We are so proud of him for earning his master’s degree in music therapy, along with the Leadership in Music Therapy Award from Maryville University over the weekend!

The past few years have been an incredible journey, filled with both challenges and triumphs. Balancing running a business, studying, teaching as an adjunct professor, leading a team, and maintaining his own client caseload has taken a great deal of perseverance, and Dustin has done just that!

He will be the first to say he couldn’t have done it without our amazing team. Each person has played an important role in keeping PNMT running smoothly and ensuring our clients continue to receive excellent care, and we are deeply grateful for their commitment and support. 💛

As we step into this new season at PNMT, we’re energized about what’s ahead this year and beyond! We’ve already hit the ground running this week and look forward to continuing to grow and serve the individuals and families in our community as we expand music therapy services throughout the Jefferson County and St. Louis areas. 🎸🎶

It really is awards season at PNMT! 🏆

We are so proud to celebrate our owner, Dustin, for a series of incredible achievements this month!

Recently, Dustin received the Early Career Award from the Midwestern Region of American Music Therapy Association for his outstanding dedication and accomplishments within the first 10 years of his career as a music therapist. 🙌

The honors continued this past weekend as Dustin was presented with the Megan Piontek Memorial Award from the Missouri Rehabilitation Association, Eastern Chapter. This award recognizes a graduate student or recent graduate who has demonstrated exemplary initiative, service, and leadership in the field of rehabilitation. 🌟

The celebrations aren't over yet! This coming weekend, Dustin will receive the Leadership in Music Therapy Award from Maryville University during his graduation ceremony as he completes his Master’s in Music Therapy! 🎓

We’re so lucky to have Dustin leading the way here at PNMT. These awards are a true reflection of the heart and high standards he brings to the practice every single day, and we couldn’t be more excited for him! 😄

We have been quite busy behind the scenes these past few months. We've begun seeing our clients at our new Crystal City office, and we've all been enjoying having such a cozy space for music therapy sessions. Here's a peek at how things are looking! We'll have more to share in the coming weeks. 😊

Dustin had a wonderful time co-leading Creative Music Making at Powell Hall this year! Can you spot him? 🧐

Creative Music Making is a community music therapy event held in collaboration between Maryville University, St. Louis Arc, and the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. During this annual event, Maryville Music Therapy students lead adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities from St. Louis Arc in a concert after a two-day workshop. The participants showcase their talents with additional support from SLSO members, creating meaningful community connections. This event is always such a fun experience for everyone involved! 😄🎸
