What I ate today:

Breakfast- strawberry toaster strudel on my way to work (don’t judge lol)

Lunch- two just bare chicken trips and a few bites of Broccoli and cheddar rice

Dinner- fried shrimp (not fresh. Frozen from Aldi)

Had half a protein shake

Snack will probably be some grapes later on.

Good morning yall. One thing I used to do that I have stopped doing, is posting what I eat in a day. I’ll try to get better about posting that again. I was told by a few followers it gave them ideas. Sorry yall I’ve been slacking lol. I promise to be better and try to be more active throughout the week, not just my days off.

Let’s talk about counting calories. There are so many trackers out there. For years I used my fitness pal and was paying about $22 a month for it. I recently just switched over to Baritastic because it’s 100 percent free. So I can save a little money.

With that app I can track even more. Down to when I’ve had a bow movement which can be helpful without being too TMI lol.

The top apps I see used in my different groups I’m in are:

Baritastic
Lose it

Take a look around at the different apps. Find which may work best for you and you can start tracking.

Remember with calorie counting yes it takes effort BUT you don’t have to give up everything you love. Just moderation.

I’m a sauce girl. Love me some sauces but sauces are full of calories. And we want to eat our calories in food. Not sauces or drink our calories. I’ve learned to make my own dips and sauces by using Greek yogurt as a base. It’s added protein and pretty versatile. You can basically do almost anything with it. Of course I love to make a dill pickle ranch. That’s easy. Plain Greek yogurt, packet of dry ranch and a little dill pickle relish. Way less calories than regular ranch and added protein.

I’ll used kinders seasoning packets to make dips as well lol and then eat with veggies or protein Doritos.
Don’t sleep on the plain Greek yogurt yall.
