Can anyone guess what my next two educational journey's will be ( No it's not IBCLC OR being a midwife!)

I'm changing it up this year. I'll be on my way to go touch grass and bury my head in many books for the next 12 to 24 months, as I work my way through this new exciting adventure!

It's been real everyone but I am going to take an extended break from social media. I'm not closing up shop, but I am refocusing on my business in a different way and focusing on my next journey and path of learning. Social media takes a lot out of me and I find myself doom scrolling and it just takes so much time between being distracted by the content and making content. I refuse to be chained to the machine to make my business work. I'm ready to start connecting more with people in real life. Don't worry, you'll still be able to connect with me via my podcast as I will be dropping the new episode in the fall.

A Spinning Babies® Parent Educator Class is a 3–4 hour prenatal class that focuses on creating optimal alignment in the pregnant body to support a smoother, more comfortable birth.

The goal is to help the baby find an ideal position for labor while reducing the risk of common birth challenges, including:

Shoulder dystocia

Baby being posterior (sunny-side up)

Breech or transverse positioning

Prolonged or painful labor due to poor positioning

This class also addresses common pregnancy discomforts such as:

Pelvic girdle pain

P***c symphysis pain

Sciatica

Low back pain

A bill moving through Ohio's legislature (HB 744) could unintentionally shut down essential birth and postpartum services. The problem: its overly broad definition of "massage therapy" doesn't exempt doulas, lactation consultants, or craniosacral therapists—even though their work is completely different from massage and backed by strong evidence.
I started a petition asking Ohio legislators to add explicit exemptions for Certified Doulas, Lactation Counselors (CLCs/IBCLCs), and Craniosacral Therapists (CSTs) so they can keep working within their professional scope. Right now, doulas provide hands-on comfort during labor—things like sacral counter-pressure and hip squeezes. Lactation professionals treat plugged ducts, engorgement, and latch issues. CSTs use gentle, subtle touch for newborns with feeding difficulties or birth-related tension. None of this is "massage"—it's specialized clinical work.
Without an exemption, trained professionals would either need to get a whole new massage license (which doesn't fit their training) or stop providing care. At a time when Ohio's maternal health outcomes need support, losing these services would hurt families who depend on them most. If this matters to you—whether you've worked with a doula, seen lactation support make a difference, or just care about keeping good healthcare accessible—consider signing and sharing. What's your take: should professionals be blocked from their trained work just because a bill's language was too vague?

I have two classes coming up in the spring! One is the Spinning Babies Parent Class, and the other is a Prenatal Breastfeeding class. Both classes are designed to prevent complications. Spinning Babies Parent Class is especially great for any of those Mom's who are planning a VBAC, or previous stalls in labor.

My breastfeeding class is perfect for first time moms but also mom's who tried breastfeeding before and didn't reach their breastfeeding goals.

They're taking place at the Cleveland Chiropractic & Integrative Health Center in Brecksville.

Took a long and extended break to go have a baby! Baby Jónína was born in early October at home!

It was one of my most intuitive births I've ever had and the most interesting. She was born on a beautiful fall day. My labor started in the late morning and progressed pretty quickly after that! Our midwife arrived 10 minutes before her birth ( I told my husband he might have to catch her lol). My midwife fortunately appeared before he had too.

Thankful my birth team and my chiropractor who helped after birth with misalignment!

This pregnancy was hard. I felt super sick in the beginning and had environmental stresses that I couldn't control. Grateful for the people that rallied around me, supported our family in a time where I felt deep in the valley during a very sensitive time. I took a year off of birth work and I'm excited for the opportunities that await in 2026!
