I didn’t realize how loud my thoughts were until becoming a mom.

It’s not just one overwhelming thought, it’s the constant mix of “am I doing enough?” And the everyday things like what’s for dinner.

Even in the quiet moments, my mind is usually running through the next thing before I’ve finished the current one…

I’m learning that this doesn’t mean I’m failing. It just means I’m in a really full season of life.

I think a lot of us are just doing our best in a really full season, and that’s enough!

We’ve pretty much always just had our daughter eat what we eat, with small modifications.

It’s not perfect, but it’s made mealtime feel simple and less stressful.

These are a few of the meals we come back to over and over. Nothing fancy… it’s just what works for us.

This has honestly made the biggest difference for us.

When we let her help with meals, even in the small ways, she is so much more interested in the food. 🙌

Yes, it’s messier, it takes longer, and definitely isn’t perfect… but she’s way more likely to actually eat.

It’s a small thing, but has helped a lot!
