Each of us has found ourselves on either side of life. But I’m convinced that people who always have a sad story are dysfunctional. I’m not talking about people who are clinically depressed either. I’m talking about repetitively dysfunctional folks. If you never find anything to rejoice over something is seriously wrong. Also, people who always give ear to that dysfunction are enablers. Focusing on their dysfunction is costing you an opportunity to rejoice with someone else. Get the dysfunctional person the help they need and give the rejoicing person the props they deserve.
