CINA would like to Welcome Antra Getzoff as the new CEO and Business Partner of the Cryo Industry Association.

Antra Getzoff grew up and built a solid management, training, and consulting career in her home country, Latvia. It is possible that not much would have changed to date if it was not for cryotherapy. Cold, quite literally, changed her life twice.

The first time was falling in love with cryotherapy as a treatment.
January 2010 came with Antra’s spontaneous decision to leave the 250-employee company Antra had been running for the last 4 years through the stresses and hardships of the financial crisis. Walking out was an “I will never have another boss in my life” moment. Agitated, physically and emotionally drained, and sleepless, she came across an ad for a whole-body cryotherapy special and decided to give it a try. The first 10 sessions turned into 10 more because the post-treatment endorphins were precisely what the exhausted body needed.

The second time was moving to the US to start a cryotherapy business.
An American friend whom Antra had accidentally introduced to extreme cold during his visit to Latvia in the summer of 2010 turned her life upside down. A few months later, she landed in San Francisco, California, to become one of the first cryotherapy entrepreneurs in the United States and the “original gangsters” of the now booming industry.

Since moving to the US almost 15 years ago, Antra has helped hundreds of businesses in numerous countries incorporate cryotherapy into their offerings. The accumulated knowledge, experience, and relationships are now put to work to help build CINA - the global Cryo Industry Association.
