This past Friday, Lightpath Health completed our final Free Sports Physical Clinic of the 2026 season at Roosevelt High School, and I’ve been reflecting on what a special day it was.

If you know me, you know that being an aunt is one of my greatest joys. One of my favorite moments from the clinic was having my nieces volunteer alongside me. Watching them serve our community and experience firsthand the impact of helping others filled me with pride and reminded me that a heart for service is one of the greatest gifts we can pass on to the next generation.

As we close out this year’s clinic series, I am incredibly grateful for the providers, nurse practitioners, healthcare professionals, volunteers, school staff, and community partners who made these events possible. Because of your generosity and commitment, hundreds of student-athletes received the sports physicals they needed to participate in the sports and activities they love.

At Lightpath Health, we believe access to care should never be a barrier to opportunity, and these clinics are a powerful example of what can happen when a community comes together around that shared belief.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time, talents, and support throughout this season. Together, we are helping create healthier communities and brighter futures for the next generation.

At Kimball High School last week, volunteers, providers, coaches, school staff, and community partners came together once again to support students across South Dallas.

Throughout the day, we heard from coaches and students expressing how grateful their families were to have sports physicals available directly at the school, helping make the process easier and more accessible before the season begins.

Together with Catalyst Health Group and Dallas ISD, we’re continuing to bring care directly into schools and help reduce barriers for students and families across our communities.

Thankful for every volunteer and partner continuing to show up for students in such meaningful ways.

We're honored to share that Lightpath Health has been named a finalist for the 2026 D CEO Magazine’s Nonprofit & Corporate Citizenship Awards.

This recognition reflects the power of community-based care and the partnerships helping expand access to healthcare across North Texas.

Every day, our teams, volunteers, providers, schools, and community partners work together to remove barriers, build trust, and help Neighbors thrive.

This one's for the Neighbors we serve every day.

Proud to share that this past Friday, Lightpath Health’s 3rd Community-Based Sports Physical Clinic served more than 200 student athletes at Skyline High School.

For many families, these physicals are more than a requirement for participation — they remove barriers and create opportunities for students to stay engaged, active, and connected.

Grateful for the providers, volunteers, school leaders, and community partners who continue showing up for our youth and making this work possible. Together, we are building healthier communities and investing in the future of our young people.

Last Friday, we were at James Madison High School (Dallas) alongside our partners at Catalyst Health Group and Dallas ISD, continuing our five-school sports physicals series across South Dallas.

By bringing care directly into schools, we’re making it easier for students to get the physicals they need, without cost, without insurance barriers, and without having to navigate the system on their own.

For many students, this is what allows them to step onto the field, the court, or the track this season.

Grateful to our volunteers and partners for showing up together to support students and their health. Over 100 students served!

Last Friday our team was at Lincoln High School in South Dallas, the first of 5 Dallas ISD high schools where we're providing free sports physicals throughout May.

For students whose families can't easily afford or access healthcare, this physical is what stands between them and the season they've been waiting for. No cost. No insurance required. Just access and a team that's glad they're here.

Thank you to our volunteers and our partners at Catalyst Health Group and Saint Luke Community United Methodist Church for showing up with us. This is what community-centered care looks like.

Another powerful day of service with the Catalyst Health Group’s team, last Friday

Nine dedicated employees came together and assembled 500 more hygiene kits—each one a small but meaningful reminder that our neighbors are seen, valued, and cared for. That’s 1,000 kits across two events, and more importantly, 1,000 opportunities to extend dignity in tangible ways.

What stands out most isn’t just the number—it’s the consistency. The willingness to show up again, to give time and energy, and to be part of something bigger than ourselves.

This is what community looks like in action.
This is how trust is built.

Grateful for partners who don’t just believe in the mission—they live it.

Last week our community came together to assemble hygiene kits for neighbors in South Dallas.
We’re grateful to Behind Every Door, and the volunteers from Catalyst Health Group for showing up with such care and generosity.

These simple items carry real meaning — dignity, support, and the reminder that our neighbors matter. This is what community-centered care looks like.
