May is Mental Health Awareness Month β a reminder that taking care of your mind is just as important as taking care of your body. π
Mental health struggles are real, and too often people suffer in silence. Checking in on yourself, seeking support, and having honest conversations can make a life-changing difference. There is strength in asking for help and healing in community.
One book I highly recommend is The Unapologetic Guide to Black Mental Health by Rheeda Walker, PHD. It offers powerful insight, practical tools, and honest conversations about navigating mental wellness while breaking stigma in the Black community.
Letβs normalize prioritizing peace, healing, therapy, rest, and emotional wellness β not just this month, but every day. π€β¨
