Since 1986, ABPTS has certified only 281 Clinical Electrophysiologic Specialists nationwide. After completing one of two residency programs in the country for EMG/Nerve conduction studies, Dr. Charles is happy join the group of these board certified experts in EMG/Nerve conduction studies and earn his ECS credential.

Dr. Charles is one of ~ 25 Doctors of Physical Therapy double board certified EMG/Nerve conduction studies and diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound in the nation.

Medicare and all insurances cover EMG/NCS testing by board certified Doctors of Physical Therapy.

Dr. Stevens was happy to volunteer his EMG services at his Alma mater for an individual without insurance at Misericordia’s free physical therapy clinic. The physical therapy students were able to observe an EMG in real time and gain valuable insights into Electrodiagnostic medicine.
