Over the years, my children have given me many beautiful gifts, but one birthday card captured something special.

Inside, they called me:

“The Mother of All.”

I smiled because I understood exactly what they meant.

Our home was always open - to family, friends, grandparents, and many others who became part of our extended family. One of the greatest blessings of raising a large family has been watching those circles of friendship and love continue to grow.

As a counselor, I have had the privilege of working with people from many walks of life, including successful families who had beautiful homes but sometimes struggled to find time for simple connection. It reminded me that the greatest wealth is not found in the size of a house, but in the warmth that fills it.

I have always believed that love grows when it is shared, wisdom grows when it is passed on, and people flourish when someone truly believes in them.

Nothing brings me greater joy than watching others grow, heal, succeed, and become the best version of themselves. If I can encourage, guide, or inspire someone along the way, then I feel I have fulfilled part of my purpose.

Family is my anchor. Love is my purpose. Growth is my journey.

There are moments in life when you pause and reflect on the journey.

As I read this interview, I found myself thinking about the many paths I have been blessed to walk- artist, counselor, wellness instructor, realtor, travel professional, wife, mother, and friend. Each chapter has taught me something valuable, but perhaps the greatest lesson has been this:

The best investment we can make is in good deeds that come from the heart.

The kindness we share, the people we encourage, the lives we touch, and the love we give become our true legacy.

ART THAT SPEAKS

Some people see colors. Others see memories, healing, hope, or a chapter of their own life. The same painting can tell a different story to every person who stands before it.

I once heard two people standing before the same painting.

One quietly said,
“I see more than colors. I see the years we have lived, the challenges we overcame, the dreams we held onto, and the blessings that followed.”

The other smiled and replied,
“That’s the beauty of art. No two people see the same thing. Each person brings their own story to the canvas. Some see hope. Some see healing. Some see a memory, a dream, or a chapter of their life.”

Good abstract art speaks volumes. It invites conversation, reflection, and imagination. It can lead people in different directions, yet somehow connect them through a shared experience.

The painting remains the same, yet it speaks differently to every heart.

The Bible teaches that every person is created in the image of God. Perhaps that is why each of us is given a unique way of seeing the world and finding meaning within it.

Sometimes the most valuable things in life cannot be touched or measured—they can only be felt.

What if your best chapter hasn’t been written yet?

PASSION HAS NO EXPIRATION DATE — KEEP GROWING

Growing older is a privilege that many never receive.

From teaching yoga and fitness classes, I have seen people rediscover their strength, confidence, friendships, and joy. I’ve watched a spark return to their eyes when they reconnect with purpose.

Passion is not only about romance.

It is about learning.
Creating.
Dreaming.
Traveling.
Helping others.
Living fully.

And yes, love can grow deeper with age. Mature love is often built on friendship, trust, shared memories, and gratitude.

Perhaps the secret is not staying young.

Perhaps the secret is staying passionate.

As long as there is something to learn, someone to love, a dream to pursue, or a life to touch, another beautiful chapter is waiting to be written.

As we grow older, many of us discover that life’s greatest treasures are not things we own, but the people we love, the memories we create, and the kindness we leave behind.

Long after possessions have changed hands, love remains. Kindness remains. The lives we touched remain.
