Pate Rehabilitation

Pate Rehabilitation Pate Rehabilitation offers comprehensive brain injury and stroke treatment in centers across the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Worth and Anna, TX. Worth and Anna.

Our mission is to serve persons with brain injuries, their families, and the community by providing professional services, support, and education focused on returning injured individuals to their highest possible level of independence and quality of life. Pate provides the only CARF accredited Stroke Specialty Program for rehabilitation in North Texas. Pate's program is evidence based, and highly

customized to each person we serve. We emphasize neuropsychology for deeper understanding of injuries and their effects on the whole person, cognitively, physical and emotionally. Our therapies include physical, occupational, speech and language, vocational, aquatic, equine and animal assisted, counseling, biofeedback and more. We treat day patients, inpatients and provide a welcoming, supported living home. Pate's treatment system is unique, and focuses on preparing patients to return to the real world, not a quiet clinic floor. Our exclusive PERPOS model allows us to assess and measure tolerance for distraction and structure and create a therapeutic environment that mimics conditions in the real world. The real world requires handling a lot of distractions. We focus on increasing strength to reduce the need for structure which is a key feature of independence. Pate is committed to advancing care for brain injuries and our scientists conduct ongoing research that keeps our program on the cutting edge. Treatment Centers are located in:
Dallas, Watauga/Ft. Residential Centers are located in:
Irving, Ft.

National Grief Awareness Day is dedicated to raising awareness of the myriad ways in which individuals cope with loss. It offers resources to those going through personal losses and reminds us to support people we know who are grieving. Founded by Angie Cartwright in 2014, in hopes to encourage open communication on loss and bereavement and better inform the public on the facts of grief.

Grieving is a normal part of losing something or someone you love, but it looks different for each of us. We all handle the difficult feelings that come along with grief in our own unique way. In honor of National Grief Awareness Day, we want to remind you to show yourself some grace and allow yourself time to heal. It’s okay to have an especially tough day. It’s okay to cry. It’s okay to be angry. It takes time to heal from loss; there isn’t a prescribed course as closure comes in many forms.

Today, we celebrate the anniversary of Women’s Equality Day. But why is this day so important? It happens to be the celebration of the 19th Amendment as part of the United States Constitution, securing women’s right to vote. We commemorate the efforts of those groundbreaking activists, celebrate the remarkable achievements of women, and reaffirm our commitment to equality.

Let’s celebrate the strong women in our lives who have had an impact. Whether your mother, daughter, sister, friend, or family member, tell them you appreciate them and thank them. To all the amazing and hardworking women of Pate, we appreciate you.

We would like to take the opportunity to highlight Director of Business Development Dan Dodd on being nominated for our 2025 Business Development Impact Player Award in the Rehabilitation Division!

“In 2024, Dan took on one of the most complex leadership assignments in the organization, assuming responsibility for the largest Residential Program in the country alongside the Southeast Home & Community portfolio. Under his leadership, the combined business finished the year at 99% of revenue budget, representing a substantial improvement over 2024 and a meaningful reset of performance expectations.

Dan drove significant growth across key markets, including Georgia, South Carolina, and continued expansion in North Carolina Home and Community,” said Chief Development Officer John Mudgett.

“Referral performance was particularly notable, achieving the largest regional increase in the country, reflecting the impact of several critical hires and the disciplined strategic initiatives Dan put in place.

"Dan’s leadership combines scale, strategy, and ex*****on. He built capability, strengthened accountability, and positioned the region for sustained growth. This performance reflects not just a strong year, but a leader who elevates the organization around him.”

Thank you, Dan, for all your contributions to the development of our team and dedication to growing our business!
