It’s hard to believe I’m running the NYC Marathon for the 7th time tomorrow. So excited to get to do this with my daughter Kassidy Carrier. She has trained so hard to get an opportunity like this to fight for such a great cause.

Thank you all who donated to . Kassidy and I raised over $11,000 and this morning our team raised over $631,000!!

Many of you know this year will be my 7th NYC Marathon and Kassidy Carriers 1st!!

Talk about long distance training.
Training together is tough but we both got in 10 miles this morning. Few FaceTime calls throughout helped!!

Who’s ready to start pounding pavement!
Crazy to think this will be my 7th NYC Marathon.
Best part is this year I get to run the NYC Marathon with my oldest daughter Kassidy Carrier!

I’m raising my fundraising goal to $10k this year.
I promised Mckinley that I will continue running this marathon until we find a cure. As a Dad, I’m not giving up on my promise until I physically can’t run anymore.

Wanted to share this with Team Argyle!

Many of you may know my daughter McKinley Carrier who was diagnosed with type 1 in Sept 2017. She is a Junior at Argyle High School and tough as nails.

I promised her I will run the NYC Marathon every year to fight this disease with her.
Im not only running just for my daughter but for everyone impacted by this disease.

Also, Nurse Traca (at the middle school) reached out today to let me know that she put in for the district to wear blue on 11.14 in support of our T1D students. I thought it was very thoughtful of her and wanted to let you all know as well.

Some of you may know but this year I will be running the NYC Marathon with my wife Lindsay Summers Carrier to raise money for JDRF.

Next month will be 5 years since our daughter McKinley was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. From that day forward I promised her I will be by her side in this fight for a cure.

Good morning Team Argyle!

For the past two years, my husband Andrew and I have been leading the charge for Team Argyle. It has been an absolute privilege to take the lead for this team and bring awareness of T1D to our community. It is time to pass the torch! We will still be fighting the good fight along with Team Argyle, but due to changes in our careers, we will need to step down from leading this group. Andrew still holds a seat on the JDRF board and we plan to remain active members of Team Argyle as we strive to one day find a cure for this disease. We would love for another Argyle family to take the charge for this group! If this is something you are interested in, please reach out to one of us and we would be happy to discuss in more detail. It is important that we continue to link arms together and keep this organization strong in finding a cure for T1D!
