I welcome questions about Reiki! Here are 3 that I would like to share.

1. Do I receive a massage during a reiki session?
The reiki I provide does not involve a massage. My hands hover or hold different parts of the body like the head, shoulders, back, arms, stomach and chest to work on energy flow in the whole body. Having said that, there are licensed massage therapists who incorporate reiki into their practice.

2. Who can get reiki?
Reiki is for everyone. Some of the clients I have worked with include those who:
a) Seek a quiet moment in their busy life. More like self care.
b) Use it as complementary care, requesting for sessions before and/or after medical procedures.
c) Have pets who are transitioning to a new home or environment.
d) Have a lot on their mind and need help finding clarity.

3. What is the difference between in-person from distance reiki.
In person is when we meet and do the treatment on a reiki treatment bed or if preferred, chair reiki is an option too.

Distance reiki is for clients who are unable to physically be in the same room as me. I do require a face to face conversation or a picture before a session. Energy is not limited by distance.

Energy Work - Reiki

My reiki practice started with a life purpose question. It took me on a journey to knowing myself more which involved seeing the light and dark aspects of me and learning to acknowledge and accept, that, like any other human being, the challenges we've had in life have made us perfectly imperfect.

We are energy. Life conditions and stressful situations make up our personal energy. I have seen how these change a person physically, emotionally and mentally.

Western medicine has been effective in treating most of these however, there are aspects of humanity that medicines can't reach.

Reiki, as a complementary holistic approach is about how unblocked energy centers can harmonize and balance a person's welbeing. It's the reason why I do this. My purpose is to help shift wellness from within.
