Keeping up with social media; I'm so happily busy living my life I neglect doing the "work" side of having a business, albeit a service business which is therefore not really work but love. As part of my own healing journey, I recently asked to see more birds. My heart almost stopped when I glanced and saw these two headed right toward me (took a sec to get the camera) - for some reason I adore sandhill cranes. I am blessed. As are you!

Attended a concert this morning, all by myself. Literally by myself, no one else was there. I have never heard the wind in the trees like I did today. Each species - birch, maple, oak... - a different instrument, a different sound. I stood there with closed eyes, sun and crows cawing over my left shoulder, letting it flow over me, embrace me, share the joy with me. I left my body for a moment, drawn in, connected. I feel it still.

May we all make music, standing in our spot, in ourSelves, a universal melody in love and appreciation for Creator and Creation.

Thoughts? It is certainly simplified, but isn't that where we fall down, the space where we forget who we truly are?

We can't go outside, bad for the lungs. Read on for some tips to take care of you and yours. That's smoke by the way, all smoke, in our skies.

Air quality alert — smoke from Canadian wildfires is blanketing the area, and this week's smoke has more going on than plain wood ash. While the smoke will go away, the health strain may very well linger; I hope you will consider some proactive actions.

General Advice:
• Stay indoors, windows closed, AC on recirculate
• Pets stay in too
• N95/KN95 mask if you must go out (though I'm unclear on how healthy the materials in the mask actually are, so staying inside best option)
• Air purifier if you have one
• Rest — your body's working overtime right now

Holistic support:
• NAC (excellent overall lung support)
• mullein (you use it for colds, you need it now!)
• quercetin (great pairing w/NAC, especially now)
• whole-food vitamin C (skip synthetic ascorbic acid)
• cilantro-pineapple-carrot-celery-ginger-water smoothie (classic lung cleanse, great once a day right now)
• steam inhalation with eucalyptus or thyme
• saline nasal rinse (flush g**k out before gets further into body)
• activated charcoal (away from meals/meds)
• chlorella and/or spirulina (nourishment, cleanse)
• hydration (water & herbal tea, not sugar drinks; help flush body)
• milk thistle (liver working extra hard, give it some support)
• Magnesium glycinate (headaches)
• oatmeal baths (itchy skin)

Take it easy this week. This will pass.

Opponents of a 1,200-mile oil pipeline from North Dakota are marking this Thanksgiving Day at the site of a planned river crossing near Lake Oahe. Protesters say the pipeline could damage local drinking water sources and Native American heritage sites. The pipeline's developers say the project will....
