We took the concept of a “trust game” to a whole new level at Hillside! Our residents had the very important job of knocking a red Solo cup off the tops of our brave employees’ heads. 🎯🤣

The residents had a blast, the employees showed A LOT of trust, and there may or may not have been a few surprise bonks along the way! 😆

Our residents have been busy helping prepare back-to-school supply kits for our staff members’ school-age kiddos! 🎒❤️

At Hillside, we believe taking care of our team means taking care of their families, too. We’re proud to offer school supplies to help make the back-to-school season a little easier for our amazing staff members—and we love that our residents get to be part of spreading that kindness! 🥰

We may be a senior living community, but that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate our favorite orange-haired cousins! 😂

Last week, Hillside took some time to celebrate National Orangutan Day with plenty of laughs, fun facts, and, of course, a little monkey business! 🐒❤️

We had a fur-tastic time recently when Pets for Life stopped by Hillside Village! 🐶❤️

They brought along the sweetest poodle, Bo, and let’s just say… he had us all wrapped around his little paw! 🐩🥰

Bo brought plenty of pawsitivity, tail wags, and smiles to our residents and staff. There’s just something about a four-legged friend that can turn an ordinary day into a dog-gone great one! 🐾

A huge thank you to Pets for Life for bringing Bo to spend some quality time with us. We’re already poodle-ing over the pictures and hoping for another visit soon! 😉

We’re celebrating someone who truly embodies what it means to be part of the Hillside family — Heidi Collins, who has been with us for an incredible 17 years! 🎉

Heidi is our wonderful transportation driver, but her impact at Hillside goes far beyond getting our residents where they need to go. She is the kind of person who sees where help is needed and simply steps in. Whether it’s lending a hand, helping a resident, supporting a coworker, or taking on whatever needs to be done, Heidi is always there. ❤️

Recently, Heidi was honored with a Moment of Truth at Hillside — an honor that recognizes team members who truly bring our mission of dignifying long-term care in the eyes of the world to life.

And if you know Heidi, you know this recognition could not be more fitting.

For 17 years, Heidi has shown us that dignity isn’t just found in the big moments. It’s in the everyday acts of kindness. It’s in showing up. It’s in helping without being asked. It’s in treating every resident with patience, respect, and genuine care.

Heidi, thank you for 17 years of dedication, compassion, and service. Thank you for being the person who can always be counted on and for making Hillside a better place simply by being here.

Who says a car wash has to be just for cars? Our residents and team had a wonderful time giving wheelchairs and mobility devices a little extra TLC during our very own “Wheelchair Car Wash!”
