A fresh delivery from Your Flower Friends always brightens our day at Hillside! 🌸💐

We are so grateful for the beautiful flowers that are lovingly collected and delivered to our community. These generous donations bring so much color, joy, and beauty into the lives of our residents.

After the flowers arrive, our residents and team enjoy the creative process of rearranging the blooms into new bouquets and decorative arrangements that are displayed throughout our community. It’s a wonderful activity that encourages creativity, sparks conversation, and helps make Hillside feel even more like home.

A special thank you to Your Flower Friends for sharing these gorgeous flowers and spreading kindness one bouquet at a time. Your generosity brings smiles to so many faces and brightens every corner of our community. ❤️🌷

There’s something special about the simple moments that bring us together. ❤️

Our residents have been busy making memories through creativity, nature, and a little friendly competition! 🎨🌼🎣

We enjoyed a wonderful painting activity where residents expressed their artistic talents and created beautiful masterpieces. We also spent time gardening, getting our hands dirty while planting and caring for flowers that will brighten our community all season long.

To top it all off, several residents enjoyed a relaxing trip to the lake for an afternoon of fishing. The fresh air, peaceful water, and shared laughter made for a perfect day outdoors.

At Hillside, we believe life is meant to be lived with purpose, connection, and joy. We’re grateful for every opportunity to create meaningful experiences and treasured moments with the residents we are honored to serve. 💙

The afternoon was filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of furry friends as residents spent time outside petting and interacting with the animals. Experiences like these bring so much joy and create meaningful moments for everyone involved.

Today at Hillside Village, our Assistant Director of Nursing, Casey, showed up matching with our amazing CMAs, Hailee and Allison — and honestly, we think they planned it 😉

When the scrubs match, you know the teamwork is going to be strong! We’re so lucky to have a team that works hard, supports each other, and still knows how to have a little fun along the way.

Our residents had an amazing time during our recent Glow in the Dark Bingo activity! Between the neon decorations, glowing accessories, and lots of laughter, it was an activity full of smiles, excitement, and friendly competition. 💚💜🧡

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

At Hillside Village, we are especially grateful for the veterans, families, and loved ones within our community whose stories and sacrifices continue to inspire us every day.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we take a moment to reflect on the courage, service, and dedication of those who gave so much for our freedom.

Because of their generosity, our residents were able to spend time creating their own flower arrangements — sharing smiles, creativity, conversation, and lots of joy along the way. It’s amazing how something as simple as fresh flowers can brighten a day and bring people together.

🎉 Another wonderful Bingo Day at the De Soto Senior Center! 🎉

Our Community Liaison, Chelsey, had a fantastic time hosting Senior Bingo today and spending the afternoon with such a fun group! 💛 There were plenty of laughs, great conversations, and exciting bingo wins along the way. 🎁✨

This FREE community event takes place the 2nd Wednesday of every month, and we always look forward to seeing familiar faces and welcoming new ones!

We hope to see everyone again next month for more fun and fellowship! 😊
