Happy Mother’s Day, beautiful souls.
Today we honor the sacred work of mothering in every form it takes, and the love that keeps showing up, even when it is unseen.
To the mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers who have poured their lives into the lives of others.
To the bonus moms, stepmoms, foster moms, and chosen moms who loved without needing a title to make it real.
To the mothers-in-law who became safe places, steady hands, and unexpected blessings.
To the fathers and guardians who have carried mothering energy with fierce devotion, gentleness, and grace.
To those trying to conceive, holding hope month after month, praying quietly, aching quietly, loving a child you have not yet met.
To those who have lost a mother, lost a child, lost a pregnancy, lost a dream, or lost the version of life you thought you would be living by now.
To those who are estranged, healing, or learning how to mother themselves for the first time.
To anyone for whom today is complicated, tender, or heavy.
If you are celebrating, may you feel cherished.
If you are grieving, may you feel held.
If you are longing, may you feel supported.
If you are simply getting through the day, may that be enough.
May love find you where you are, and may you be met with softness.
With love and blessings,
Jessy at Freya’s Grove
