Patients often want to just go straight to the specialist when they have a problem with something. However, trying to get into a specialist is often a long wait and very expensive. The reality is that the majority of things that patients want to go to a specialist for can actually be done right in the primary care office. Not only that, but if you can get into your primary care, doctor quickly, like in direct primary care, then you would save a lot of time and be able to start treatment fast!
