And perhaps the greatest gift life has given me is realizing just how much of it can change
Not the world.
Not other people.
Not the past.
๐จ๐.
โซ๏ธThe beliefs weโve carried.
โซ๏ธThe stories weโve repeated.
โซ๏ธThe limitations we accepted because someone we loved believed them first.
โซ๏ธThe things we decided about ourselves during moments of fear, hurt or disappointmentโฆ
and then unknowingly continued living as though they were facts.
Iโve learned that you can love the people who came before youโฆ
without carrying everything they handed you.
You can appreciate the person you had to becomeโฆ
without remaining her forever.
You can be grateful for the life you haveโฆ
and still give yourself permission to desire something extraordinary.
๐ฅAnd you can wake up one day and simply decide:
This belief has lived through me long enough.
It doesnโt get to decide what happens next.๐ฅ
That, to me, is freedom. โค๏ธ
Not becoming someone new.

Another birthday.
Another year of choosing love over fear.
Possibility over limitation.
My own truth over inherited ones.
And if thereโs one thing I know now that I wish every person knew sooner:
๐ฅ Your past may explain the Code youโve been living by.
But it does not get to write the rest of your life.
Hereโs to choosing again. ๐ฅ๐ฉต
What has life taught YOU so far?
