This looks like an absolutely smashing time! Although I'm not able to attend, I hope that some of our members take advantage of this opportunity. It's a really pretty locomotive.

Here's an opportunity to get some exposure for our little project - the offer is that we can have a booth (i.e. complimentary as opposed to the usuall $350 fee) and a chance to make some pocket change for the DVSS.
Here's the offer: a) Organize a Steampunk Fashion Show, and/or b) Find volunteers for an "Unsinkable Molly Brown" dunk tank. Plan B is the money-maker, fyi, and Dana Cain indicates that it could be a *big* money-maker.
Both of these options are in conjunction with Colorado Steampunks, so no one has to over-commit. Okay, you can if you want to, but you don't *have* to. Please let Bea (beatriceATvictoriansteamDOTorg) know as soon as possible if you're able to participate in any capacity. Especially, let us know if you're willing to be a target.

A lovely purse to make. I looked at JoAnn's a couple of nights ago for the proper ornate frame, but theirs are all very streamlined. Any links to on-line sources?
