We've all got those things we swear by...here are some of mine 😈
1. Candles. For everything. 🕯️
Is the candle technically necessary for this particular ritual?
No.
Am I going to light one anyway?
Obviously.
There’s just something about lighting a candle that tells my brain, okay, we’re doing witchy s**t now.
2. Tiny jars. 🫙
I fu***ng love a tiny jar.
Do I currently have something to put in this tiny jar?
Irrelevant.
Will I eventually find something that belongs in it?
Almost certainly.
So obviously I need to keep it.
I’ve collected…a lot of them.
To the everlasting joy of my partner, who occasionally has to figure out where the hell we’re going to put them all.
3. My pendulum. ✨
This one’s actually incredibly special to me.
My main pendulum contains some of the ashes and fur of my heart-and-soul dogs.
I love divination tools in general, but there’s something different about using this one. It feels like they’re still here with me in some small way, helping me make choices that are beneficial for me.
I don’t think I’ll ever have another tool quite like it.
4. Intention oils. 🌿
Gotta love some good old-fashioned aromatherapy.
But I especially love that most of my intention oils double as nail/cuticle oils.
So I can choose an intention for whatever I need in that moment and literally put it on my hands.
There’s something I really love about that symbolism—using the intention to guide my hands toward whatever I’m trying to call in, create, release, or accomplish.
Plus: moisturized cuticles.
We love a multipurpose magical tool.
5. Crystals & gemstones. 💎
GIVE. ME. THE. SHINY. ROCKS.
Do I need another one?
Don’t ask questions you don’t want the answer to.
Moss agate and ocean jasper have my heart, but apparently my general crystal philosophy is:
Oooh, pretty.
Mine now.
Anyway, those are mine.
What witchy/spiritual tool would I have to pry from YOUR cold, dead hands?
