For over a week now, Lindsay has been on dialysis — adjusting to a new normal no one should have to accept for long. The treatments are exhausting, time-consuming, and life-altering, but she continues to show incredible strength through it all.
What makes this even more urgent is that time matters. Every year spent on dialysis increases mortality risk and reduces the success and long-term outcomes of a future kidney transplant. The relationship is roughly linear: the longer someone remains on dialysis, the harder it becomes on their body, and the worse post-transplant outcomes can be.
Lindsay deserves the chance to get back to living her life — not spending countless hours each week connected to a machine just to survive. Finding a living kidney donor could change everything: her health, her future, and her quality of life.
If you’ve ever considered becoming a donor, or even simply sharing her story, now is the time. Awareness saves lives, and one person’s decision could give Lindsay hers back. ❤️
