It's National Healthcare Decisions Day (NHDD) Week! This is a time to think about and share your wishes for future medical care. It's really about having simple conversations with your loved ones and putting basic plans in place, like a healthcare proxy or living will, so people know what matters most to you. For those of us in the sandwich generation—caring for both kids and aging parents—this is especially valuable. Having clear plans reduces stress, prevents confusion, and helps everyone make decisions with more confidence. It gives you peace of mind knowing your voice will be heard, even if you can't speak for yourself, and it truly supports your family during difficult moments.

Members of Rotary recently heard a presentation from Peiskos Wellness about their model of patient care. The organization was started by Vanessa Lees, RN, and Jennifer Cremone, NP, to support individuals who need help coordinating care across multiple physicians, as well as those who require foot care services that allow them to remain at home. Additionally, they are on track to become NH's first privately owned licensed VNA.

Any local seniors who either have transportation issues or complex medical needs? We have a mobile medical office and offer healthcare services including foot care, case management, and house calls. Just two NH natives - an NP and an RN - trying to build a community healthcare practice in Chester/Derry/Raymond area. Telehealth available state wide. Please tell your neighbors 🥰
