Managing Chronic Pain with DRG Therapy Educational Webinar

Chronic pain after limb loss can have a significant impact on daily life. We're honored to partner with Abbott to offer a free educational webinar that will take place in less than a week!

During this virtual event, Pain Specialist, Dr. Denis Patterson, will share insights into chronic post-amputation pain, available treatment options, and when neurostimulation may be an appropriate treatment consideration. You'll also hear firsthand from a patient who has received a neurostimulation implant and learn about their journey to pain relief.

The webinar will conclude with a live Q&A session, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions and gain additional expert insight.

When: Tuesday, June 16, 2026, 6:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m. CT

Detroit Disability Power featured in new film – a 3 year exploration of disability and the concept of beauty across the globe by Beth Ann Short, Zian Chavez et al.

A collection of interviews rich in stories, insights, reflections, and disabled joy
Collected across the world by/for people with disabilities
DDP staff was interviewed on Dessa's back porch; we talked about our work and our lived experiences as disabled and chronically ill Detroiters.

Our world is built for and centered on the rights and needs of non-disabled people. Our education-based, groundbreaking film flips that lens, challenging ableism, racism, and the notions of beauty itself demanding dignity, equity, and true inclusion.
