Abundant Bodies Abundant Bodies track will transform mainstream ideas around abundant bodies and help create resilient communities, media and art for our movement

This track will explore these questions and create spaces to challenge the ongoing ways mainstream media shames and harms abundant bodies, to name fatphobia in our organizing and activism, and to create media and practical strategies for resistance, healing and community building. We will broaden the conversation around fat activism by centering this track on the voices of Indigenous, Black, peopl

e of color, dis/abled, super-sized, trans and q***r fat folks. Through workshops, panels and skillshares we will transform mainstream ideas around abundant bodies and create resilient communities, media and art centered around abundant bodies!

Thanks so much for celebrating FIVE YEARS of Abundant Bodies together with us! This was the biggest, most impressive year yet. Another year of Abundant Bodies is over but we are all so grateful to our session leaders, AMC and the amazing community who came out to help us rock our 5th year at Allied Media Conference. Our hearts are filled with joy and we are ready to start planning next year in the fall. We will be uploading photos to our facebook shortly.
