We want to thank everyone that has been there for Cameron and our family this past year. It was a lot but also wonderful year. We have not been doing an update lately. So, I wanted to share a little bit of what is going on. Every month, we have a doctors visit with Texas . They check bloodwork, ultrasounds if needed and just help maintain his medication to make sure he gets the right dose. His anti rejection medication is for life. It is something he will have to take every morning and night. I know the prayers for our family are working, and God does answer them. We had a scare last month when Cameron went to his appointment. They were afraid his body was rejecting the new kidney, BUT they did admit him for a few days. They did several test and biopsy on the kidney and everything is working the way they should be! As we just hit Cameron’s 5 month from getting his transplant, we are hoping he will receive his clearance soon. Then won’t have to go to a checkup every month! Life update for our man! Cameron is doing wonderful! He had a great checkup today. He will have to repeat labs pn Friday due to numbers changing , but that’s not necessarily a terrible thing. Numbers will change during this process and medication will change with the results each week.

Even though we have been keeping to ourselves as much as possible, using hand sanitizer every where we go and taking every precautions we can take right now. We had to get out of the house and enjoy some family time! We went and enjoyed seeing the Houston Astros! The kids had a great time and we are hoping to go again in the future!

Just a small update for you guys!

Everything is going so well! The doctors are so pleased with his progress! All his new organs are working perfectly ! Thank God!

We decided that since they found a little more information about Cameron’s liver during his transplant procedure. We are getting LillieAnn checked out during his next weeks appointment for a second opinion. Because as most of you know, our daugher has the same condition !

Just wanted to give everyone an update since we are being asked how Cameron is doing. It’s not much, but Cameron is doing better each day. His mornings are rough, but as he gets up and moving. He feels better. Cameron has clinics on Monday every week as well as bloodwork to check his functions. His medications depends on his blood work results. They can change weekly. Unfortunately, Cameron is on blood pressure medication still since surgery. BUT hopefully that will get better as well. Time will tell. He does have a minor procedure in the morning to get his stent removed by his new kidney. That will be an outpatient procedure.. So, prayers would be greatly appreciated.

The house we are living in Houston, has a playground. He might not have been too thrilled , but he did get out and I snuck a picture of him smiling!
