🕊️ Some tattoos are more than just tattoos.

My client came to me after losing her sister and wanted a piece that would keep her memory close forever. She brought in a handwritten note left behind by her sister and shared the meaningful details she wanted incorporated into the design. Together, we created something deeply personal something that tells a story, preserves a memory, and honors a life.

When it comes to memorial pieces, I believe they deserve patience, intention, and care. Every flower, every detail, and every element was chosen for a reason. My goal wasn’t just to create a beautiful tattoo, but to create something that would make her feel connected to her sister every time she looks at it.

Tattoos have a way of keeping memories alive. While we can’t bring back the people we love, we can carry a piece of them with us everywhere we go.

NOT MY PREVIOUS WORK. ✨

Client originally came in wanting a small 2x2 Marigold fineline tattoo, but after talking more about the tattoo she already had, she shared that she had been unhappy with it for over 10 years. The existing piece was originally supposed to be a Lily of the Valley flower.

Instead of simply adding another tattoo and making the arm feel more mismatched, I decided to help rework the existing tattoo so everything blended together more naturally. Since the previous work already had bolder color and harsher lines, I chose to create the Marigold in a way that matched the style already on her arm rather than forcing a completely different style into the piece.

I typically don’t take on many coverups or reworks, but I felt confident I could help turn this into something she could finally feel happy and confident wearing again. 🤍

Worked around existing script that was NOT done by me ✍🏽
The snake is my work 🐍

Made sure to respect the original piece and not alter or damage what was already there. Everything was placed intentionally to flow with the script without overpowering it.

Client chose to keep it above the wrist due to work, so we kept the design within that range while still making it feel complete.
