Dr. Castañeda invites you to join him at a community event this Saturday 03/25 in Sandy Springs. He will be working alongside the Lake Forest Elementary Promotoras de Salud to promote healthy habits at the 3rd Annual Fun Run. Come do some community service and receive some mentorship from Dr. Castañeda! You'll learn a lot about child health, how schools directly impact the health of a child, and how physicians can get involved in their communities! Join us for the LMSA Southeast Regional Conference taking place the first weekend of February at the Georgia Campus of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine which is ~40 minutes from campus!

The bulk of the conference is happening on Saturday February 4th, so it's really only a one day commitment!

LMSA Emory will be organizing a group dinner for Saturday night after the conference!

As you can see from the schedule below Emory is very well represented with our very own Dr. Dominguez from the CDC (part of the Latino/Hispanic Health Work Group), Dr. Uriel Castañeda 3rd year CHOA Medical Resident and Emory alum as well as Dr. Efrain Talamantes an alumn of the Goizueta Business School.

The student rate is $25 for the "Conference Only" option, after registering to be a student member of LMSA National ($10).
