Being able to combine my love for pageantry with my passion for serving my community through Check To Protect made this night extra special. I had the honor of delivering the money raised through my Check to Protect platform to the New Promise Cancer Foundation in Dothan! I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who showed up, donated, supported, and helped make this fundraiser possible. What started as an idea to bring my community together turned into something that will help make a difference in the lives of local cancer patients and their families.
The New Promise Cancer Foundation provides financial assistance and supportive services to cancer patients throughout their cancer journey, helping with needs such as housing, utilities, transportation, and other expenses that can become overwhelming during treatment. Their mission is to help lessen some of the financial and emotional burdens that come with a cancer diagnosis. 💕🎗️
Being able to give back to an organization that is making such a meaningful impact right here in the Wiregrass is something I will always be grateful for. This is exactly why Check to Protect means so much to me!

August is Appendix Cancer Awareness Month. 🎗️
Although appendix cancer is rare, awareness can make a difference. Because it often has no symptoms in its early stages, many cases are discovered unexpectedly during surgery for appendicitis. Learning the facts helps us better understand this disease and reminds us of the importance of paying attention to our health.
By educating ourselves and encouraging regular conversations about our health, we can help create a future where more cancers are caught earlier.
Awareness starts with a simple check. 💛

Come out for an evening of fun, community, and support as we raise awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society.
✨ Registration will take place at the event, so just show up a little early to get checked in!
We encourage everyone to dress up, have fun, and wear the color representing the cancer that has impacted your life or the life of someone you love. Let's fill Dale County Lake with every ribbon color and show that no one fights cancer alone. *All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society!*

Growing healthy habits starts when we’re young. Today Natalie and I had the honor of visiting Ozark Pediatric Clinic, where I read Lola Plants a Garden to some of the sweetest little ones and we decorated our own flower pots together. Watching their creativity bloom was such a special reminder that, just like flowers, healthy habits need to be planted early and nurtured over time. 🌸🌼🎗️Through Check to Protect, I love finding fun, meaningful ways to encourage children to care for themselves and build healthy routines that can last a lifetime. Thank you, Ozark Pediatric Clinic, for allowing me to spend the afternoon with your amazing patients! 🌱🪴🩷

Behind every ribbon is a story, and this one is especially close to my heart.🎗️ This month, I’m honored to share the story of someone who means so much to me—my cheer coach, Courtney, and the incredible journey her mom, Lori, faced while battling sarcoma. Cancer impacts entire families, and hearing Courtney’s story reminds me why I started Check to Protect. Her strength, resilience, and willingness to share such a personal experience in hopes of helping others is truly inspiring. Sarcoma is rare, but that doesn’t mean we should overlook it. If you notice a lump, unusual swelling, or anything that doesn’t seem right, don’t ignore it. Early detection and advocating for your health can save lives. Lori’s legacy continues to make a difference by encouraging people to seek answers sooner and prioritize their health. Let’s continue spreading awareness because every story shared has the power to save a life.🎗️
