“What is wrong with me?” 🥺
A phrase that has been all too familiar in my vocabulary…
A phrase that makes me feel inadequate.
A phrase that makes me question everything I do and say.
A phrase that has made me feel ashamed and guilty.
When things go wrong in our lives, the first person we blame is ourselves, right?
Maybe you are also familiar with the “what is wrong with me?” thought process..
We think we did something wrong, that something is wrong with us, that we aren’t good enough, etc. etc.
All the doubts and insecurities we have about ourselves start flooding our mind and we are left feeling worthless and drained…
We start analyzing our flaws and say stuff like, “See! This happened because I was never good enough in the first place”
Or maybe you’ve said something like, “Exactly what I thought, I suck as this.”
All of these thoughts are coming from a negative place…a place that was put there by society and the people in our lives.
Negative beliefs that were engrained in us.
When we continue to feed this negativity and stay in that space, the negativity is only going to continue to flow.
The thing I’ve learned is that the only way to truly combat those kinds of thoughts is through….
ACCEPTANCE ✨ SELF LOVE ❤️ and COMPASSION 🙌
Accepting yourself as you are.
Loving yourself through each hard moment.
And having compassion for yourself as you work through it.
I know it can be hard, but I believe you are strong enough to overcome this.
It is a daily battle, one that you might loose some days…
But you get back up and try again….and again….and again…
And sooner or later, you will wake up one day and you will fully embody the strong, powerful woman you’ve been striving to become..💕
Keep going.
