Our residents had a fun-filled day!

We started the morning with Chair Yoga, getting our bodies moving and enjoying the benefits of exercise. Staying active is so important, and our residents always do a wonderful job participating.

We celebrated National Root Beer Float Day with delicious root beer floats that were enjoyed by all.

To top off the day, the weather was simply too beautiful to stay indoors! Residents spent time relaxing on the porch, enjoying the breeze, sunshine, and fellowship with friends.

Days filled with movement, treats, laughter, and fresh air are some of the best days at Weakley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center! ❤️

Our staff were treated to a visit from Nikki Lee’s Food Truck, featuring delicious corn dogs, funnel cakes, deep-fried Oreos, and fresh-squeezed lemonade! National Peanut Butter Day was for the birds—in the best way! 🥜🐦

Our residents celebrated National Peanut Butter Day by creating homemade bird feeders. Residents enjoyed spreading peanut butter on pinecones and then rolling them in bird seed to make tasty treats for our feathered friends.

This fun, hands-on activity encouraged creativity, fine motor skills, and plenty of smiles while giving back to nature. We can't wait to hang the bird feeders outside and watch the birds enjoy the special treats!

🌼 A Busy and Beautiful Day at Weakley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center! 🌼

Our residents had a wonderful day filled with fun, laughter, and meaningful activities. The morning was spent enjoying one of their favorite pastimes—Bingo—where friendly competition and plenty of smiles filled the room.

In the afternoon, residents headed outdoors to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air while planting flowers in our flower beds. They took pride in helping beautify our grounds and watching their hard work come to life with colorful blooms.

Days like these are a great reminder of the joy that comes from staying active, social, and connected with nature. We are grateful for every opportunity to create special moments for our residents! 🌸🌻🌷

National Iced Tea Day was a refreshing success! 🧋🍪

Our residents celebrated National Iced Tea Day by gathering together to enjoy a cool glass of iced tea paired with delicious cookies. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with conversation, laughter, and sweet fellowship.
