Hello! Its been awhile! It has been just over a year since my diagnosis of stage 1A ovarian cancer. I get checked every 3 months and am at "no evidence of disease." My energy has returned and I am feeling better than ever! I just want to thank everyone who has helped in any way! The emotional support has been as amazing as the financial support! Much love to everyone!

Hello everyone! Just updating everyone on my hair growth! My last chemo was Sept 19 and its taking its sweet time coming back. Its not curly but sometimes some crazy cowlicks pop up. I am really grateful for all the support I have been given this last several months! You all mean the world to me!

I finished my last chemo infusion yesterday! I did not get video of ringing that bell as Essentia brings a hand bell to the infusion room and I wasn't prepared. Actually I am not prepared at all for not actively fighting cancer. Please continue to pray and send good thoughts to keep this stupid cancer away!

"I have 3 more sessions of chemo left. I had to skip a week again last week due to neutropenia, aka low white blood cells that fight infections. I was hoping to be done last week but i have had delays equalling 4 weeks so here i am. I also started working with preschoolers again so I have to be extra careful about masking and washing my hands. I can't get sick until I build up some more pto!
I am so grateful for all of you! I love you all!"

"Yesterday I took a short hike at Bannng State Park. My energy level is much less lately because of chemo. My neutraphils, a part of white blood cells, are very low so my immunity is also low. Not great timing as I went back to work last week and will soon be spending all day with germy 3-5 year olds. Please send good vibes that I can stay healthy especially from Covid 19. "

"I have 4 more weeks of chemo! I had a lot of stomach issues the last 2 weeks. As predicted the chemo will feel worse as the chemo builds up in my body. Still doing much better than expected symptom wise but it still sucks."

I find it very hard to balance resting for my health or pushing myself for better endurance. Today I pushed in the morning hitting 5 tourist spots about 30-60 miles north of Duluth. I walked about 9000 steps before 2 pm. Gotta get my wind up before school starts but I am wiped out now!! I may take a short nap.

"Today i was supposed to start my 5th of 6 rounds of chemo. Unfortunately some of my white blood cells are too low so I have to wait a week for them to rebound. I feel pretty good but a little tired. Its frustrating though to waste time and money driving to Duluth when I cannot get a treatment. I was hoping to be done by mid September but now maybe by the end of September.
Please share my Gofundme. We are so close to my goal and it would be such a relief to have that extra help."

I was busy living in the moment over the weekend with family that I missed this update from Beth!

We are all still navigating changes in our lives but are doing our best to give her all the love and support as she continues her chemo treatments. We went to the Como zoo and had a fun laugh about her hair looking like the ostriches! Beth's spirits are still high and she chooses positivity in almost every situation that arises and I am so proud of her! 💓

July 18th she wrote "This weekend we are heading to Prescott. Samanthia is driving so Ace and I are riding in the back. Its so nice not to have to drive. I had chemo yesterday but feel fine today. Thank you all again for all that you do!"
