While on my walk this morning (Good Friday)
I enjoyed the crispness of the cool air and decided not to make a phone call or listen to my usual inspirational message, but to focus solely on my thoughts.
I thought about how grateful I was to be out walking, when I could have settled in on one of many previously-used excuses on a cold and overcast morning.
I thought about how grateful I was to take each step, because I remember two seasons when, my knees hurt so bad, that I couldn't stand for more than 5 mins. at a time. One of those times I had to walk with the assitance of a cane for 4 months. Both times, I believed that I would never be able to walk or exercise again.
And of course, I thought about the health journey I've been on since 1988...all the valleys I've waded through and all the mountains I've climbed.
While walking I thought about what this Sunday represents...
Christ sacrificed His body, so that WE could live. He traveled for HOURS, carrying a cross, that weighed Him down.
Then I asked myself this question, " Why do I sometimes allow other things to get in front of me taking care of my body, when so much was given for me to live MY best life?"
I pray to always view taking care of my body, as a top priority and I pray that YOU will too!
🎶HAPPY EASTER!🎶 💐
Much love and Many blessings!

Hebrews 10:10 (NIV)
10 And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
