I've worked in skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, and independent living--and one thing has always remained the same: there were stressed out families, patients, and nurses, resulting in unhappy people and poor-quality care. I can empathize with millions of caregivers who are filled with fear, uncertainty, and guilt that they are simply not doing enough for their loved ones and who att

empted to advocate for their loved ones, only to find that it was an uphill battle. This is why I started CT HealthAvocate- to provide caregivers like myself with the tools, autonomy, and support systems we need to successfully navigate the complex healthcare system.

When I'm not advocating for patients and their families, you can find me volunteering at local senior centers, antiquing, going on retreats to my "she-area," or probing my kids for the latest slang so I can make mom jokes. I look forward to getting to know you and being a part of your loved one's care team.
