This Juneteenth, CRITC didn’t come as a vendor, presenter, or organizer—we came as students of the community. 🙌🏿🙌🏾🙌🏽✨ We had the honor of traveling throughout Easton, Bethlehem, and Allentown, soaking in the rich culture, powerful history, incredible talent, amazing food 🍽️, uplifting music 🎶, beautiful art 🎨, and the undeniable joy that filled each celebration. 🖤

A HUGE shoutout to Big Red BIG R3D ❤️, Maverick Makaveli M² | Rapper 𓋹♀ 🎤, Umoja Is Unity 🎶, and the City of Allentown 🏙️ for the energy, dedication, and passion poured into honoring the history of Black freedom and Black excellence. 👏🏽👏🏾👏🏿🔥 Thank you for creating spaces where our community can learn 📚, celebrate 🎉, connect 🤝, and remember. ✨

Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom 🕊️, resilience 💪🏽💪🏾💪🏿, culture 🌍, and progress 📈. While we’ve come a long way, there is still work to be done. Together, we continue building stronger communities, stronger minds, and brighter futures for generations to come. 🌱❤️

The seasons change whether we’re ready or not.

The sun rises. The water flows. The leaves turn. Life shifts.

Some transitions are exciting. Others feel uncertain. Sometimes we try to hold on tightly to what was, only to realize that change was happening all along.

As we enter a new season, what if instead of resisting it, we acknowledged it?

If you’re excited, celebrate it.
If you’re grieving, honor it.
If you’re afraid, name it.
If you’re unsure, give yourself grace.

Then step outside.

Feel the sun on your face.
Listen to the water moving over the rocks.
Let your feet connect with the earth beneath you.
Take a deep breath and remember that growth doesn’t always happen in perfect conditions; it happens through seasons.

At CRITC, we believe wellness is about learning how to navigate life’s changing seasons while supporting our physical, mental, emotional, financial, and spiritual well-being.

As we prepare for our upcoming Essence of a Woman: Our Plates, Our Stories fundraiser, we’re creating space for reflection, connection, healing, and growth, because every season of life deserves care.

These little faces may look different now, but the child within each of us is still there. 💜

At CRITC, we believe healing, growth, and support don’t stop at childhood. While many know us for the work we do with youth, we also walk alongside adults and families in their homes—supporting their physical, mental, emotional, financial, and spiritual wellness and growth.

Because much of this work happens in people’s homes, we don’t always have photos to share. Our families deserve privacy, dignity, and safe spaces where they can be vulnerable, set boundaries, heal, learn, and grow without feeling like their journey is on display. We respect those sacred spaces, which means some of our most impactful work happens quietly, away from the spotlight.

As we prepare for our upcoming Essence of a Woman fundraising dinner, we’re reminded that every adult was once a child—with dreams, strengths, challenges, and experiences that helped shape who they are today.

This post also serves as a tribute to Taylor, a dear friend of our Founder and President, whose encouragement, belief, and support helped inspire the journey that would eventually become CRITC. Though no longer with us, her impact continues to ripple through the lives we touch every day. Rest in peace, Taylor Brielle. Your legacy lives on in this work. 🕊️💜
