You think I’m exaggerating, don’t you?😔

Birthdays used to SUCK🙈

After my second failed marriage I got to the point where I believed I'd always have to take myself out for birthday celebrations🙄,

That I'd never find anyone who would want to spoil me & celebrate the day I came into the world😔,

And I worried about how I'd navigate the complexities of family life if and when I did🙈.

Looking back (and for a long time I never dreamed I'd say this, but...) I'm grateful for those failed marriages!

Not just because they set me on the path to healing and to finding true love🥰,

But because without that experience, I wouldn't have discovered the purpose I live to show up for every day,

Which is to help other women heal from their past relationship experiences,

So you can find the sort of partner who can't wait for your birthday every year too,

And who accepts, loves & celebrates ALL of you🤩!

When I blow out my candles later today🎂,

My only wish will be that anyone who has been in a toxic relationship and has found the courage to leave,

Never gives up on themselves or on love,

Because no matter how dark things may seem now,

It's always darkest before the dawn 🌇
