I wish our daughter, Laili, a very Happy Mother’s Day! 🌸 This is her first Mother’s Day celebration other than the one she celebrated while expecting our first grandchild, Raha, “The Liberated One” in Farsi. She is an amazing mother and I am very proud of her.

Laili has always been committed to growth, self-awareness, and taking responsibility for her own healing and life. As a teenager, she wrote a beautiful self-help book for women titled Glow Up, and interestingly enough, I now find myself reading her book and deeply contemplating many of its insights.

She is a Doctorate of Neuroscience, a certified yoga teacher, Reiki Practitioner, Health Coach, artist, and an avid reader who deeply values holistic healing and personal growth.

As I reflect on three generations of women in my family — my sweet mother, Mrs. Aghdass Jazayeri, my daughter Laili, and now little Raha — I realize that healing, maturity, and self-awareness are lifelong journeys. My mother, Aghdass Khanom, whose name means “The Holy One” in Farsi, was my first spiritual teacher and mentor and truly my very best friend. She was deeply interested in philosophy, history, spirituality, and the growth of the human soul. She constantly worked on herself and inspired me to do the same.

Like all of us, she had her own fears and struggles, yet she was always a seeker of truth and self-improvement. I now see even more clearly how each generation of women in our family has tried to become more conscious, loving, and emotionally mature.

Raha is our motivation to stop any cycles of trauma and immaturity. 😍 🩷😍🩷😍Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful mother in Heaven, to my daughter Laili, and to all mothers and women who have mothered others with love. 🌷
