🚨 Long Post Ahead.
As we come up on the one year anniversary of Cece’s departure from our world, emotions are everywhere.
These past 11 months have felt like a blur, like living a life that’s not ours & the adjustment to living this life without her has been so hard but, we see so many signs she’s still with us.
Recently, we’ve started a garden dedicated just to her at home - right outside her bedroom window. Our cousin crew each picked out a special flower and chose a spot for it. There’s beautiful wind chimes for her to show us she’s here and her beautiful smile right there to greet us as we come & go. Cece was so beautiful & full of life, and her garden will be such a reflection of that. 💛
Our last toy drive was such a success & when we launched that, I had it set in my heart that this is something I want to do as much as possible. With that being said, i’d like to introduce Cece’s Smile & Blessing Drive. 🦋
We’ll be collecting toys again now through May, in honor of our girl & again, donating straight to Child Life @ MD Anderson. They’ve shared with us they have a real need for older children gifts as well & have shared a list I’ll share below along with our Amazon wishlist that we have tried to include as much as those things as possible.💛
We will also have a in-person donation box at 3 N 1 Fitness in El Campo where you can drop off new toys, in the original packaging. (Child Life rules.) 🧸
Whether we get together 1, or 5 or 100 items - your help with this is so appreciated. Ideally I’d like to do this at least once or twice a year moving forward to honor Cece.
